All PCBs supplied by us as exchange PCBs are re-conditioned by us unless specifically stated as NEW.
Please read this important information which forms part of your contract to purchase an exchange PCB!
The Exchange Process:
If you choose 'Exchange' when ordering, you will need to send us your old PCB before we can send an exchange PCB out to you. As soon as the old PCB arrives with us (in a repairable condition) we then despatch your item.
Subject to stock availability, we can usually send an Advance Replacement PCB if you need it urgently. To do this, we require an advance replacement deposit .We will refund your advance replacement deposit minus £5 for administration charges, when your old PCB is received by us in a repairable condition within 14 days of supply. The customer is responsible for the cost in full of return postage. Any postage underpaid or items returned with no postage having been paid will be subject to a penalty charge of £15, as we will be involved in further work to retrieve the item from the local sorting office and pay Royal Mail penalty charge and the underpayment amount.
All our PCBs are supplied on a strictly exchange like for like basis. No items are supplied on a trial basis.
We supply to UK mainland customers only, and do not post items outside the UK.
Exchange and Guarantee Policy
1. Please be aware that we operate an exchange service, and you are accepting to 'buy' the exchange service PCB, and return your old PCB to us in repairable condition. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. You cannot 'try it out' in your boiler and then return for full credit.
2. All Items we supply are in sealed, tamper evident packaging, so do not open the sealed bag unless you are sure this is the item you want. Correctly supplied items are subject to a 70% restocking fee,(excluding cost of post/packing, which is not refundable in any event) as all returned items must go through retesting & quality control processes. Unauthorised reurns will not be accepted.
3. In the unlikely event of a PCB developing a fault within the guarantee period, please contact us first on 0782 660 5019 for technical advice. If it is necessary to return the item to us, we will provide an RMA number which must be marked on the outside of the package when you return it. The PCB will be tested and if found to be faulty* under the terms of our guarantee, we will supply an immediate replacement with free postage.*Items which have tamper evident seals broken, have been subjected to damage, been tampered with, water damaged or contaminated in any way will not be accepted under guarantee. Unauthorised returns without an RMA will not be accepted. Your return postage costs are not refundable, and no refunds are given if an exchange is available. The original warranty period is not extended by the replacement.
4. Our total liability in any circumstances is limited to the original purchase price of the PCB, and no allowance is made for postal charges and or consequential loss or damage.
Post and packing charges: Please remember there are costs involved in providing cardboard boxes and packaging materials, plus labour time to sort, inspect and pack the PCB's, and transport to and from post offices. This is reflected in the cost of our post and packing charges.
